Funny Stuff!
5 Sept 07

Fathers Day has come and gone and I spent most of the weekend playing with Kaitlyn and the twins, and I don't think I have laughed so much in quite a while. Bryce and Morgan are nearly 10 months old and crawling all over the place, and when they aren't crawling all over each other they are heading in the opposite direction. Morgan gets quiet cranky with Bryce, and rightly so, whenever Morgan has something Bryce will muscle his way over and steal it off her. Bryce is focused on the toy, so when he gets it, Morgan thanks him by grabbing him and pulling him down, whacks him on the head, pulls his hair and then slobbers all over his head. Bryce Just lays there and cries...

Morgan finally has a tooth on the bottom that has come through the surface and Bryce's is so close to coming through the gum as well.

Which means Mr Bryce might need to be careful, because it looks like Morgan is not afraid to use it!
Little Kaitlyn is doing well too, after a operation on her little back, she has bounced back very well. It was harder for the parents to see her go through with it, and always remember that after a general anisthetic its not good to eat as much food as you can, or you might end up in the toilet very quickly. Well thats what happened to an iceblock, apple juice, chicken biscuits and pureed apple..."I'm done now daddy" she said afterwards.

To top it all off she is a great big sister and the twins absolutely love her to bits. They light up whenever she comes into the room...So Cute. Kaitlyn plays really well with them and is at an age where she is helpful as well, Sharon needs an extra pair of hands a lot of the time, even if they are Kaitlyns little ones.
But as with the last update, there are so many awful viruses and flu's going around at the moment that we have not had a healthy household for 3 months+. It seems that there are just runny noses all the time - Middle Ear, Bronchitis, Fevers, Runny Noses - We've had it all, and the antibiotics that go with it.

And the parents are doing well too, we are finally getting out of the house and starting to do some of the things that we used to do. Like going to the Gym, talking to other adults...its getting back on track. Which has been good for Sharon - It is hard work looking after twins, especially when they have been sick and Sharon has been sick too. And on top of all that there is the cooking and cleaning and other day to day stuff that goes on, and little Kaitlyn needs her attention as well.
Somehow she manages to get all of this done, where I just end up rolling around on the floor being one of the kids as well.

Yes we are still sane...its everyone else that is insane...right?...
