The Next Chapter

Welcome to the latest and greatest from the Dalla Costa family. Yes it has been a while, however I promise to add more pics more regularly!
After a few years of posting updates, I managed to accumulate a lot of pictures!! So moving it all across to a new web host has taken its time..but here we are.

Only 2 more months and yes, the twins will be 3 years old. Wow 3 years, but in the last few months we have managed to get them day trained on the toilet. Which is such a bonus - not as many nappies now!
But also they have really developed their little personalities. Its amazing to watch them play, and interact with each other, sure they fight and have off days, but the biggest joy is seeing them all play together as the best of friends.
They love their arts and crafts! Painting and Drawing. On a few occasions we have made Pizzas including the base, which they pound like play-doh. The biggest challenge though is trying to stop them from eating all the toppings before they go in the oven!! They are usually full from all the cheese and ham and pineapple.
My lovely wife Sharon is also doing really well. Looking after the household, managing the kids and project managing the part time builder. Soccer season is just finishing up for her, but the next few months will still be hectic with the house.

The House progresses. The most unfortunate thing about the house, was about a 5 or 6 week delay in getting the front of it on.
Well actually the front went on and then it came back down again because it was the wrong height. OOPS! So the manufacturing company had to send down replacement trusses, and some I had to modify on site. I am becoming pretty confident with an angle grinder now!
It is amazing though, as soon as the front section was back on and finished, the house frenzy began again!
Organising sub contractors to come in and do their bit.
Some of the most exciting accomplishments, Frames and Trusses totally fitted and finished - There are THOUSANDS of tek screws in the house! Probably about 5 or 6! Thats a lot of drilling...And a lot of help from my Bro Paul and his mates. Thanks Pauly! and to the other guys that came out and helped with all the steel, especially all the heavy stuff!!
Windows and Doors arrived and put into place! - Starting to take shape now!
The Biggest and most wonderful part - Facia, Guttering and Roof Finally on!! WOW its is amazing because we can actually work inside when it is raining. Sure it has a bit of a draught, but its beats getting rained on! Especially when you climb around the trusses when they are wet...

But the next steps which will make a massive difference - The Hebel on the Outside, Front Door in, Concrete Tanks, Roller Door - Soooo close to lockup stage...My plan is still Christmas to move in...tight but achievable.

Stay tuned for more updates....
