Returned to Earth
5 May 2012
It has been at least a year and a half since I last updated, how sad is that. I do recall when the updates became less frequent. Around the same time as I was finishing the house and also changing jobs. Moving on from Telstra to Hewlett Packard.
So...What has happened in the last 1.5 years...a few things.
The House Build completed, Approximately a Year ago we received sign off from the Yass Council to say the house build was completed.
The Landscaping continues outside, with some paving and grassed areas happening, this should keep us entertained until the end of the year. Landscaping is the fun stuff, not indoors.
A Cubby House, ok well this one got out of control, How hard could it be to build a Cubby House, not too hard if you keep it small! But I don't know how to do that, the 5cm X 5cm sketch became a huge fort outside.
Still Missing doors, windows, left over render and paint the cubby and it's nearly done - I didn't say which Christmas it was going to be ready by! Did I?!?!?!?! Family trip away to Merrimbula - Beautiful trip away with the family and another 5 families, we all had a blast and need to make sure it happens every year as a family trip away!! Maybe a few too many Beers. Kaitlyn has just turned 8 at the end of April and the twins will be 6 at the end of the Year. Time flies when you're having fun!
A torn ACL...this was a nasty one. On Returning back to Soccer at the end of November 2011. I dislocated my right knee and it HURT a lot. After 2 Specialist appointments, some physio and an MRI it was confirmed I tore the ACL in my right knee, The problem is, If I want to return to soccer or more importantly Martial Arts, a knee recosntrcution is necessary. My first big operation, but fingers crossed all goes to plan!!! Operation Date 17 April 2012, and involves Drilled holes and using some of my existing hamstring ligaments to reconstruct the torn Anterior Cruciate Ligament. I'll fill you in on the details....later.
