In the last few year I have been SOoooo lucky to have worked with some very talented and fantastic individuals.

With the thanks to the Down Dere team, I was invited to come along and spend a day behind a bar with Aussie Acting Icon - Jay Laga'aia

I remember first seeing Jay in the Aussie Drama series Water Rats, which successfully ran for a few seasons...and then from time to time Jay has popped up in other tv shows and movies like Xena and Star Wars, and really is one of the familiar faces on Aussie TV.

Funnily enough though, now that I have children, I also frequently see Jay on Play School - My Kids Love Play School, and therefor I am a fan too... SO...I was excited and so happy to be able to sit down and have a chat with the big man and be behind the bar with him trying to look busy!

Not only though did I get to talk and work with the big fella Jay, but a few years back when I had time to watch TV went through a phase of Home and Away... during that time got used to also watching the characters and familiar faces. And at the time there was a Home and Away Lifeguard - Shauna Bradley...played by Kylie Watson. Kylie was on there for a good number of years, and now also was cast as a main character in this production. And Kylie now, is as toned and buff as ever, probably one of our best candidates as a female terminator!
In the end I had a great day and these talented people were great to talk to and even better, have a joke with. Being part of it was awesome, and to top it all off, I also got a chance to work with the very professional team of DownDere films... These Guys and Girls make a great team. I think there is a really positive future for these guys, they work hard and still manage to have fun along the way! Well Done to Emma Keltie, Rory Kelly, Natalie Krikowa and Penny Glasswell...You guys are talented and professional.

I had such a great time, it was a shame that the day had to end...but as always, I have some great pics, that I can take away with me.

I look forward to seeing the final product and seeing you all again soon!

OH YEAH - A HUGE MEGA THANKYOU TO THE POT BELLY PUB IN BELCONNEN - Thanks so much for letting me behind the bar to show everyone how NOT to pull a beer - unless you like your beer with a lot of head!!!
